Ossie Pipkin, a cherished individual whose life was marked by love and dedication, passed away on October 13, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on November 19, 1934, in Lisbon, Louisiana, Ossie lived a life rich with passion and commitment to family and community.

Throughout her vibrant life, Ossie found great joy in her career, providing housework for private families, where her helpful nature and hard work were always appreciated. She was not only known for her professional skills but also for her warm spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand wherever needed.

Ossie took immense pride in her family, which she regarded as her proudest accomplishment. Her deep love for those around her was evident in everything she did. Beyond her work and family life, she was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed the camaraderie found in playing dominos with friends and family. Walking was a favorite pastime, providing her time to reflect and connect with her surroundings.

Her warm personality made her a beloved member of her community. Ossie often volunteered at local schools, contributing her time and talents to support the education and well-being of children. She believed in the power of giving back and instilled this value in those around her.

Ossie Pipkin’s legacy will be celebrated during visitation on October 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The funeral service will be held the following day, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant M.B.C. in Lisbon, Louisiana.

She will be remembered for her love of cooking, her generous spirit, and her unwavering support for her family. Ossie’s life, defined by love and community service, leaves a profound impact on all who knew her. You will be dearly missed, Ossie.
