Thomasine Elizabeth Barrett was born on September 1, 1940, in rural Idabel Oklahoma, to  Mary Lee McAfee and Tommie White.

Thomasine married her best friend Errol Kenneth Barrett of Fort Worth Texas on March 30, 1962. They lived a military life and lived abroad, later they settled in Federal Way Washington for 47 years. Together they raised four sons, Michael E. Williams, Anthony M. Williams, Errol K. Barrett Jr. (deceased), and Gavin S. Barrett. They later became grandparents to four grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Thomasine and the late Major Errol K. Barrett enjoyed 59 years of married life.

Thomasine was known for her intellect and many talents. She was an accomplished artist, seamstress and photographer.

She was a ‘career’ student. She loved books and learning. Often times she enrolled in courses at the local college only to find herself ahead of her professors in their fields because of her prior research.

Thomasine also made time to shop! One might say she was an extreme shopper. One in every color was her motto.

While tenacious in spirit, surviving 2 massive strokes, Thomasine passed away September 20, 2024, in hospice.

Thomasine was a Jehovah’s Witness. It was her conviction that using Jesus’ shed blood she would be awakened from death at the appointed “hour” to enjoy endless life on a beautiful earthly paradise (John 5:28; Luke 23:43), where it was predicted “the righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.” (Psalm 37:29) There will be “no more pain” or sorrow (Rev 21:3,4). She hoped to see you and all her loved ones and friends again in Paradise.
