Junior Ray Sanders

Junior Ray Sanders, born on February 25, 1954, in Houston, TX, left this world on April 22, 2024. He was known for his infectious personality that brightened the lives of all who knew him.  Junior was a proud Army veteran, serving his country with honor and dedication. His passion for making others laugh and his welcoming demeanor meant that he never met a stranger. Junior’s sincerity and commitment to honesty were always evident, and he lived by the motto “make book on that.”

In addition to his military service, Junior had a deep love for music that brought him joy throughout his life. His vibrant spirit and love for laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Junior Ray Sanders is survived by his loving wife and children along with friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

Services to celebrate Junior’s life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, TX.

Visitation will take place on May 6, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Celebration of Life on May 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM. 
Burial will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on the same day at 2:00 PM.
Junior Ray Sanders may have passed from this earthly realm, but his light and laughter will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
