Raymond Joe Hill, a dedicated Truck Driver and Bus Driver for the School District, has reached the end his lifelong journey on April 28, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on July 10, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Raymond lived a life filled with passion for the open road and connecting with people.

Raymond’s career as a driver spanned an impressive 49 years and 6 months, showcasing his unwavering commitment to his profession. His time spent behind the wheel was not just about transportation but about the experiences gathered along the way and the lives he touched.

Described as outspoken and fun-loving, Raymond’s personality shone brightly wherever he went. His love for fishing and sports, particularly his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys, added vibrancy to his character. He had a way of bringing joy to those around him and creating lasting memories with his infectious humor.

In the hearts of those who survive him, Raymond leaves behind cherished memories and lessons in perseverance. His legacy will be carried on by his beloved family and friends who were touched by his presence throughout his remarkable journey.

A visitation to honor Raymond will take place on May 9, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on May 10, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM to be held at Leath Street M.C. Church – 1831 Canada Dr – Dallas, Tx .
