W.J. Hardaway, known as “James” or “Mr. Bill”, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024, in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 30, 1938, in Gonzales, Texas. W.J. was a dedicated and hardworking individual who lived a life filled with love, education, and discipline.

Throughout his life, W.J. was known for his conservative values and his unwavering determination. He was a persistent individual who never shied away from challenges. His strong work ethic served as an inspiration to many and left a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Remembering W.J.’s remarkable life will bring together family members, friends, and well-wishers at several events honoring his memory. The first event is a viewing scheduled to take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation on February 9th from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM in Fort Worth, Texas.

Following the viewing will be a wake service held at Love Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C. later that evening, beginning at 6:00 PM. The address of the sanctuary is 1712 Evans Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas.

The final event will be a funeral service on February 10th, starting at 11:30 AM, also held at Love Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C. W.J.’s life will be celebrated and his legacy honored during this solemn occasion. The address remains the same – 1712 Evans Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas.
