Tomral Claude English was born on January 29, 1941, to the late Katherine Hames and Tom English in Navarro, Texas.

 Many of her family members knew Tomral as Pearl or Granny Pearl. She will be remembered for her laughter, sense of humor, dancing, and having fun at family events.

On December 20, 2024, Tomral English gained her wings. She is preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Hames, her father, Tom English, six brothers; Joe Lewis Hames, Jr., Tommy Lee English, Lacel English, Joe Wallace Hames, Johnny Lee Hames, and M.L. Johnson, two sisters; Crestal Hames and Katherine Hames, three daughters; Lucy Mae Hart, Sueleane Buchanan and Darlene Hames and one son; Willie Earl Hames, two grandsons; Willie Hart, Jr, Willie Joe Buchanan.

She leaves to cherish her memories her three sons, Laurine Buchanan, Jr., Ray Buchanan, and Willie Joe Buchanan; one sister, Rensley Muhammed; and a host of grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
