OBIT: Lachisha Sherina Vantrice

Lachisha Sherina Vantrice, born on November 21, 1981, in Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication to those she loved.

Lachisha had a distinguished career building houses and worked as a forklift driver, contributing significantly to the communities she served. Her dedication to her work was evident in the pride she took in every project, reflecting her commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Her personality was one that lit up any room. Lachisha was known for her infectious laughter and constant smile, traits that endeared her to all who knew her. She possessed a down-to-earth attitude and was always direct, which made her both approachable and relatable. Lachisha loved to make people laugh, creating an uplifting atmosphere that drew friends and family together.

Outside of her professional life, Lachisha had a wide array of interests that included a profound love for music and a passion for having a good time. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, often sharing her enthusiasm for the team with friends and family during game days.

Throughout her life, her family was her pride and joy, serving as her proudest accomplishment. They were a central part of who she was and the legacy she leaves behind.

Lachisha’s life will be honored with a visitation on February 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on February 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM, both held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
