JAROME TABORI HOLMES JR

Jarome Tabori Holmes Jr. was born on June 11, 2001, in Dallas, Texas, to his loving parents, Jarome Tabori Holmes Sr. and Crystal Nicole Armstrong Holmes. From the beginning, Jarome radiated an energy that was impossible to ignore old soul in a young body, brimming with passion, humor, and a deep love for life. Jarome’s passion for music, using his talent to connect with others and express his vibrant spirit. He was proud of his artistic accomplishments, including his #1 song, “Kiddy Pool.” Music was not just a passion for Jarome-it was the soundtrack to his life and the language of his heart. A proud student of the Richardson Independent School District in North Dallas, Jarome laid the foundation for a career in hospitality, showcasing his knack for making others feel welcomed and valued. His ability to bring people together was unmatched, whether he was cracking jokes that had everyone in stitches or simply showing up as his authentic self. Jarome’s loyalty to the ones he loved was unwavering. He was the life of the party, always ensuring that those around him felt included, cherished, and entertained. His laughter was infectious, his presence unforgettable, and his impact profound  Jarome was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lessie B. Smith, Columbus Smith Sr., Mary “Mama Mary” Holmes, Mary, and George “Killer” Holmes; his grandparents, Columbus “Papa Daddy” Smith Jr., Timothy Pierce, and James “P.J.” Johnson.

Left to carry on his legacy, cherish his memories, and relish in the thoughts of good times are his loving parents Crystal Holmes and Jarome Holmes Sr. (LaQuiesh) great-grandmother Roxie Armstrong, grandmothers Delmetra Washington (Michael) and Mary Holmes Jones, , and his siblings Deja Davis (Marquinn), Keshun Holmes, Mya Mitchell, Mya Ward, Jakayla Mitchell, Matthew, T.J., Trinity, Marvelous Holmes, and Marcelo Holmes. As well as his bonus siblings Daylan Jones and Ajan “A.J.” Manley-Walker.

 He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Columbus Smith III, Dominique Smith, LaToya “Byrd” Bailey, Michele Steele (Gavin), Mytron Washington, Kenneth Holmes, ToRhonda Gipson (Michael Gibson), Tharon Johnson (Nakita), Chundra Minor (Anthony), Eugenia Price, Darius Johnson (Naarah). As well as his bonus uncles and aunt Damien Turner, Nicholas Smith and Brittany Williams. Jarome’s nieces whom he loved deeply Toriyana Long and Misaki Hollins.

 Above all, Jarome adored his daughter, Armani Nicole “Chucky” Lee-Holmes, who brought immense joy and purpose to his life.

 Leaving a host of extended family and friends to also hold his memory close to their hearts, ensuring that his light continues to shine brightly through those he touched.

 Though his time with us was far too short, Jarome’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Rest in peace, dear Jarome. Your melody will forever play in our hearts.
