Rebecca C. Werts is a speaker, writer, educator, therapist, and licensed professional counselor. A National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a 2022-2023 Doctoral Minority Fellow for the NBCC Foundation, she is passionate about her work and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education at the University of North Texas (UNT). She is a two-time alumna of UNT, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A Denver native, Rebecca was an honors graduate.
