OBIT: TINA KAYE JACKSON

Tina Kaye Jackson, beloved chef and dedicated member of the United States Army, passed away on May 16, 2025, in McKinney, Texas. She was born on February 14, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, where she would eventually cultivate her passion for culinary arts and service to her country.

Tina’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to excellence in both her professional and personal endeavors. As a chef in the military, she not only honed her culinary skills but also nurtured a deep sense of camaraderie and responsibility towards her fellow servicemen and women. Her dedication and talents enriched the lives of those around her, creating lasting memories through her culinary creations.

Tina’s legacy will be honored during a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, Texas, on June 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held there the following day, June 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Tina will be laid to rest with military honors at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:15 PM.

In this time of mourning, friends, family, and all who knew Tina are invited to celebrate her remarkable life, remembering her kindness, her culinary talents, and her steadfast spirit in the face of challenges. She leaves behind a cherished legacy that will not be forgotten, reflecting a life devoted to service, kindness, and excellence.
