Paul Quinn College Celebrates 150th Anniversary with Multiple Announcements

Paul Quinn invites the community to celebrate its 150-year anniversary
On Saturday, April 2, a “Parade of Champions” celebrating the accomplishments of six teams who won state and national championships in and near Southern Dallas will kick off multiple campus-wide events.
Saturday, April 2 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
What: In the 2021-2022 school calendar year, there were a record number six southern Dallas area schools that won national and state championships in their respective sports. At 10:00 am on Saturday, April 2, the Dallas community and elected officials will celebrate the accomplishments of these champions at the “Parade of Champions” on the Paul Quinn campus.
Teams include: DeSoto High School Girls Varsity Basketball (6A), Duncanville High School Basketball (6A), Madison High School Boys Varsity Basketball(3A), Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (4A), South Oak Cliff Football (5A) and Paul Quinn College Basketball (USCAA).
Dallas City Councilman Tennell Atkins will serve as Grand Marshal.
