On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, on the Dallas City Council Agenda there will be a discussion about changing the name Garza Avenue, between Marsalis Avenue and Vanetta Lane, to “Golden Bears Way.”

Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn King Arnold is asking that as many as possible sign up to speak in “favor” of the street name change. You may contact the City Secretary Office at 214.670.0653 to register to speak. You MUST call before Tuesday, September 27 by 5pm. Just let the office know you want to sign up to speak in favor of PH1. 22-2007.

 Also, you may send an email to all the councilmembers and the Mayor asking them to support MPT Arnold and this street name change.

There’s another option as well, you can speak virtually and the City Secretary office can give you the details.
