‘Tis the Season of Giving with the Dallas Mavericks continuing their impact on families in the community. Dallas Mavericks players Maxi Kleber, Dwight Powell and Josh Green will each take a family from Hopeful Solutions shopping for the holidays at Academy Sports + Outdoors. Accompanied by ManiAACS, D-Town Crew and Mavs Mascot Champ, each family will check off their respective wish lists as a gift from Academy and the Mavs for the holiday season, while the players check out the families at the registers.

Dwight Powell will also make a $10,000 donation to Payaway the Layaway, to help additional families in North Texas payoff their balances for the holidays.

The Holiday Shopping Spree is part of the Season of Giving – the NBA and Dallas Mavericks commitment to brighten the holiday season for thousands of children and families. After a particularly challenging year for the community, the Dallas Mavericks continue their relentless support for those in need throughout North Texas.
