The Southern University Alumni Federation – Fort Worth Chapter will host “Jaguar Takeover Night,” an annual scholarship dinner party and fundraiser, at 7:30 p.m. at Crowne Plaza Suites, 700 Avenue H, in Grand Prairie. The scholarship event is one of several activities held on the same weekend that SWAC competitors Southern University of Baton Rouge, La. and Texas Southern University of Houston meet for the Historically Black College classic, the Arlington Football Showdown. Single tickets to the fundraiser are $50. A table for 8 guests at the scholarship event is $400.
