C. Rena Thomas is happily retired after spending 15 years as a community engagement coordinator and communications specialist for DeSoto ISD. Previously, she spent 27 years at IBM. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Rena is a graduate of John Tyler High School, and she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler. She was a graduate of Leadership Southwest Class of 2016, an excellent team player, and a born leader. Spiritually grounded and filled with love, Rena is an ideal person to work with because she is a consummate professional.
