
Letitia Huckaby is a celebrated multimedia artist and photographer whose work explores African American heritage and cultural identity. Her powerful visual narratives are featured in numerous prestigious collections, including The Library of Congress, and her art has been exhibited internationally. Named the 2022 Texas Artist of the Year by Art League Houston, she was also selected as the 2026 Texas State Artist for 2D media. As co-founder of Kinfolk House in Fort Worth, she nurtures community through collaborative art spaces. Letitia was born in Germany but spent her formative years in the American South. She holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, a BFA in photography from the Art Institute of Boston, and an MFA from the University of North Texas. Letitia is represented by the Talley Dunn Gallery in Dallas.
