Linda Shockley served as Managing Director at Dow Jones News Fund, Inc. for more than 30 years. She attended Haddon Heights High School and received her Bachelor Arts in Journalism from the University of Bridgeport, where she was a presidential and Charles Dana scholar, and President of the Organization of Black Students. Her impressive portfolio includes stints with Journalism Education Association, and PL Waller LLC. Since 1994 she has been the President of the Lawnside Historical Society – owner and operator of the Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum in Lawnside, New Jersey. A longtime member of NABJ, having joined in 1984, she co-chaired the 1989 New York Convention.
