Superb Woman: Vivian Taylor

Vivian Taylor attended the University of North Texas, where she was initiated in the Spring of 1976 into the Zeta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and Master’s of Arts Degree in Special Education/Diagnostician. An Educator/Principal, Vivian is a member of the St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church. Her many honors include Founding Principal of the first public All Girls School in the State of Texas: DISD’s lrma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School, National Blue Ribbon School Award Recipient (2001) Dealey Montessori, National Blue Ribbon School Award Recipient (2011) Irma Rangel, SMU 43rd Women’s Symposium “Women In Leadership” Recipient, Dallas ISD Principal of the Year Nominee, and Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Administrative Leadership Award Recipient.
