After traveling around the country for many days, U.S. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX30) returned home to speak to a passionate crowd at Antioch Fellowship Church, Thursday night. Among those present were Rev. Frederick D. Haynes, III, a staple voice speaking about change from a pastoral mindset, and Democratic County Chair Kardal Coleman, who led the charge with getting people to say, “Stand up, fight back.”
As part of the ongoing Blue Texas statewide organizing program from Texas Majority PAC and the Texas Democratic Party, the Dallas County Blue Texas Organizing Rally energized local Democratic activists and organizers as part of the sustained push to build the largest Democratic voter mobilization effort in Texas history ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

The main attraction was Congresswoman Crockett, who spoke about the climate around the nation, saying, “If you allow them to attack one, they will eventually attack you also.”
She referenced Texas, mentioning another time when Democrats left the state and how crucial it is to support those in the fight, “Without Texas, they can’t take the White House.”
She emphasized the importance of “community,” whether it’s being a friend to your neighbor, knocking on people’s doors, or having conversations with them. It’s not vacation season, but collaboration season.” With so much at stake, Blue Texas is calling on Texans to come together to turn Texas blue.
