Dallas Wings Fall to Indiana Fever 2nd Time at AAC

For the second time this summer, the Dallas Wings played host to the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center. For the second time, there was no Caitlin Clark who is still nursing a groin injury. And for the second time the Wings were defeated by the Fever.

The Fever defeated the Wings 88-78 Friday night, extending their win streak to four games and improving to 16-12 and No. 6 in the WNBA standings.  Four of five Indiana’s starters scored in double digits.

The Wings fell to 8-21 and No. 11 in the 13-team WNBA. Paige Bueckers had a team-high 22 points, four assists and two steals in the loss. She was the only Wings player to reach double figures. Their next game in Tuesday, Aug. 5th on the road against the New York Liberty.
