Say it with me: “I won’t miss another vote again”! Be a voter on May 3rd.

Dallas stands at a pivotal crossroads. On Saturday, May 3, voters will choose who will represent them in all 14 City Council districts. Yet, if history is any guide, most residents won’t show up. In 2023, just over 7% of registered voters participated in the mayoral election. That level of civic disengagement threatens the future of our neighborhoods and our city.
City Council members make decisions that shape our daily lives: public safety, affordable housing, infrastructure, taxes, economic development, and more. With four open seats on the ballot and a field of over 40 candidates, this election will shape the direction of Dallas for years to come.
And this year, voting is just the beginning of what you can do to make a difference.
