Honor in the Bible means to “esteem, respect, and value”. Hence: “Thou art worthy, O’Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Revelation: 4-11). America, just in case you forgot, God created all things. Therefore, a leader whether religious or civil should represent God’s ultimate authority, not the influence of the devil in the world, because: “Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5: 5-7).
The Pharisees in the Bible were the biggest hypocrites of that era, because they always sought honor and praise from men. Jesus always called them out as bold hypocrites. The Gospel Writer Paul called hypocrites out as well, when he wrote: “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honoring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”. (Romans 12: 10-12). Will someone please inform the GOP MAGA CULT that they should try outdoing one another in showing honor and respect to others, rather than sowing seeds of societal discord and confusion seeking something for nothing based upon White Privilege. Many of President Trump’s cabinet picks lack the intellectual and moral qualifications for their positions. One such individual was so unqualified, until he was forced to withdraw without a confirmation hearing. DEI is a walk in the park compared to MAGA White Privilege, because it is historic slave-based getting something for nothing based upon the 1619 Project.
The world in which we live is corrupt and becoming more corrupt with each passing day simply because of greed, envy, and jealousy. For example, individuals who seek to honor God (TRUTH) oftentimes will receive dishonor and disrespect from the world. In 2025, individuals who seek to lead a lawful and righteous life in America may face public criticism and termination from their public service jobs for adhering to the law and their moral principles. What a shame! Lest we forget, God alone is the Creator and Sustainer of both heaven and earth, and the ungodly reap what they sow. What goes around: comes around. Question: why is there only a (10%) tariff on goods imported from China? China is America’s second largest trading partner?
Is it because of personalized business interests, not nation-state interests? America, we should always and forever remember that: “He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor.” And, most of all, “Whoso keepeth his mouth, and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21: 21, 23). America, God approves of spiritual foresight and restraint, because life is too short to be stupid. An individual can be here today and gone today, not tomorrow. The wisest man according to the Bible, King Solomon, said it best, “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honour is humility.” (Proverbs 15: 33). Therefore, when an individual’s thoughts and actions please God, even his enemies will be at peace with him. Praises be to the supreme ruler, because when an individual’s actions align with divine will, it brings peace even among adversaries. Hence, all honor and praise belong to God, not to any individual. Amen.
