When Jackson State plays South Carolina State in the Cricket Celebration Bowl on Saturday in Atlanta, the SWAC champions will be a favorite by the slimmest of margins.

This week, Jackson State opens as a 1-point favorite over the Bulldogs, according to BET ESPN.

Jackson State (11-2) has won by an average of 20.7 points per game during its current nine-game winning streak.

SC State (9-2) has not lost a game against an FCS opponent since the Bulldogs fell 22-18 to Florida A&M on Aug. 31.  Jackson State last lost on Sept. 21 at Grambling State.
