A free COVID-19 vaccine registration event will be held in Dallas next week. Those looking to get access to the next available rounds of doses can register on Friday, February 19 at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center.
The event is co-hosted by a slate of city and state officials, including Dallas City Council Member Omar Narvaez, Rep. Jasmine Crockett, House District 100; and County Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, District 4.
Other special guests include Rep. Rafael Anchia, House District 103, Rep. Jessica Gonzalez, House District 104; Dallas ISD School Board Trustee Joe Carreon, District 8; Dallas ISD School Board Trustee Maxie Johnson, District 5; and Dallas County Constable Michael Orozco, Precinct 5.
There is no cost to register with the Dallas County Health and Human Services for the COVID-19 Vaccine.
The in-person registration event will take place February 19 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center located at 2828 Fish Trap Road, Dallas, TX 75212. Parkland Hospital will also be on site to provide free COVID-19 testing from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until capacity is reached.
Vaccine registration call also be done via phone phone at 1-855-466-8639, seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or online at dallascountycovid.org.
Facial coverings and social distancing protocols will be strictly enforced. Please note, this event is only to help you register for the vaccine.
