WNBA Names Season-Long Scoring, Rebounding and Assists Leaders

The WNBA, which concluded its regular season on Thursday, has named its season-long leaders in three categories.

The WNBA, which concluded its regular season on Thursday, has named its season-long leaders in three categories.

A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces was named the 2024 scoring leader after averaging 26.9 points per game.

Wilson is the WNBA scoring leader for the first time. She finished with the highest single-season scoring average in league history (26.9 ppg) and became the first player to record at least 1,000 points (1,021) in a season.

The 2024 league rebounding leader is Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky. Reese averaged 13.1 rebounds per game. She is the WNBA rebounding leader as a rookie, posting the highest season average in league history. She also set a WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles (15). The Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark is the 2024 assists leader with 8.4 assists per game. Clark is the WNBA assists leader in her rookie season. She set WNBA records for total assists in a season (337) and assists in a game (19).
