In the third quarter, the Wings were able to cut the Aces lead to within four points but struggled to keep it down. At the end of the third the Aces would increase their lead 75-61. With just under five minutes left in the game the Aces led 86-69 and won the game 95-81.

Wilson finished the game with 36 points for the Aces and Ogunbowale finished with 31 points for the Wings. When asked about the battle of facing Wilson as both are some of the top scoring in the league, Ogunbowale said, “she’s a great player, two time MVP and you can only try to limit her, you can’t really stop her, that’s how good of a player she is.”
