Free flu shots, HIV and COVID-19 testing available on Sunday, Nov. 15 Collaborative flu drive coming to South Oak Cliff High School Parkland Health & Hospital System, in partnership with Golden Life Wellness Center, will offer flu shots, HIV testing, mental health screening and COVID-19 testing at no charge this Sunday, November 15 at South Oak Cliff High School, 3601 S. Marsalis Ave., Dallas 75216 in the South Garza Lot.
Parkland will provide flu shots from noon to 4 pm. HIV testing will also be available during that time. Golden Life Wellness Center will offer COVID-19 testing from 4-6 pm.
Parkland also offers drive-through flu shots and COVID-19 testing Monday – Saturday from 7:30 am to 4 pm at the Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 South Polk St., Dallas 75232 and at the Eastfield College Campus, 3737 Motley Drive, Mesquite 75150.
As part of the Walk-In Wednesdays campaign, Parkland’s Community Oriented Primary Care health centers (COPCs) also offer flu vaccines. Dallas County residents can get their flu shot without an appointment from 9 am to noon and from 1-4 pm every Wednesday throughout the winter months.
