The college process can be daunting for parents and students as they attempt to make the right choice.

Every year, thousands attend the Dallas Independent School District’s college fair with questions and due to COVID-19, this time it will be a totally different experience because the September 16 event will be virtual, from 6 pm to 8 pm

This is an opportunity to discuss topics such as college admissions to financial aid.

“The virtual platform of this year’s college fair means students and families can explore higher education options from the comfort of their home via one-on-one visits with college recruiters who will meet families in virtual breakout rooms,” said Tamara Singleton, DSID’s counseling coordinator.

About 200 universities, military branches, colleges and technical schools will be participating.
