Wilfred Carl Rosborough

Wilfred Carl Rosborough was born on January 4, 1951 to Fannie Mae Rosborough in Longview, Texas. Wilfred accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Union Grove Baptist Church in Easton Texas. Wilfred graduated from Mary C. Womack High 1969. In August 1969 Wilfred decided he wanted to see the world and joined the United States Air Force. His wish was granted as he served in California, Alabama, and Vietnam as a military police officer.

After serving his country he decided to further his education and enrolled in El Centro College. Wilfred worked for many years as a graphic design artist. Wilfred enjoyed many beautiful memories as a father to his son Jamin and grandson Idris.

One fateful day in August of 2020, the 1969 Mary C. Womack High prayer group contacted Wilfred and he reacquainted with and then married on May 7, 2021 the love of his life Agnus Wilson Porter. Wilfred inherited three additional sons with this union who considered him their dad.

He was preceded in death by his mother Fannie Mae Coleman, step-dad Edmond Coleman, grandparents YD Rosborough, Big Momma Johnnie Mae Rosborough.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Agnus, sons Jamin (Jasmin), Damond, Andre(Kim), and Eliott (Janessa), Eight grandchildren who loved their PawPaw Wilfred dearly Chris, Elise, Dominique, Aidan, Idris, Easton, Payton, and two year old Emerson who idolized ¨ḧer¨ PawPaw. His siblings, brothers Stanley (Tina), Anthony, and David. Sisters Janeene and Janese twins. Brother and sister-in-laws Wille and Karen Woods and Keith and Sal Brown, A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will truly miss him.
