Dallas Fort-Worth, Texas – Democrats across Texas celebrated a powerful endorsement from voters in Tarrant County, Senate District 9. Taylor Rehmet’s victory in this competitive race shows that Texans are hungry for leaders who focus on solutions, not fear and division. In a district that is historically Republican, Taylor’s mission is grounded in ways designed to make life better and more affordable for working-class Texans – which clearly resonated with voters who want real results.

Blue Texas, a collaboration of the Texas Democratic Party and Texas Majority Pac, partnered with the Rehmet campaign starting in July to turn out voters. “Our volunteers knocked on 20,000 doors and made a half million phone calls to voters in SD 9. People from all over Texas joined this effort, proving that Texans are ready for change,” said Katherine Fischer, executive director of Texas Majority Pac.
