Shunkecia Lewis is a Dallas native who is committed to societal equity. Shunkecia is the Web Content Manager at the NAACP. Managing the content for the NAACP’s National Headquarters since 2020. She is the owner and creator of The Blvck Scentrovert, an aromatherapy business focused on helping everyone to enjoy scents of wax melts, carpet fresheners, and room sprays without the extra chemicals that trigger allergies and asthma. Volunteering is her passion. A community servant, she volunteers with Mothers Against Police Brutality, and she has served as the Chair of the Communications Committee, ACT-SO Co-Chair, and 2nd Vice President of the Arlington (TX) NAACP. A 2014 graduate of UTA with a BA in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and a minor in English, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
