
Dr. Shona Sandlin, Ed.D., NBCT, is an educator and National Board Certified Teacher who serves as an NBCT Program Coordinator with Prince George’s County Public Schools. She supports educators pursuing and maintaining National Board Certification and has also served as a mentor teacher. Sandlin earned her Doctor of Education from Walden University in 2022. Her doctoral research examined how principals and instructional coaches view leadership practices that influence instructional coaching, highlighting the importance of transparency, support, collaboration, and trust. Sandlin’s work focuses on educator development and professional learning. Through her leadership, she helps teachers strengthen their practice while supporting collaborative learning communities across Prince George’s County.
