Melissa Butler is a business maven, travel connoisseur and thought leader who hails from Detroit Michigan, where she graduated from Cass Technical High School, before going on to Florida A&M University (FAMU) to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance. Before founding The Lip Bar, LLC, she was an executive board member of Urban Skin RX and a Financial Analyst (Licensed Stock Broker) for Barclays. You may have seen her on Shark Tank. She did walk away successful because she grew The Lip Bar, showcasing fabulous vegan /non-toxic lipstick, into a successful venture and went on to expand to include products for the entire face! A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she was initiated into the sorority’s Beta Alpha Chapter at FAMU.
