Womanist, author, veteran, leader, and scholar, Dr. Ca-Asia Lane serves as Director of Operations, Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Defense. Her impressive career includes stints at the Defense Logistics Agency, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Army as an Executive Officer. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, master’s degrees from Georgetown University and Old Dominion University, and a bachelor’s degree from Armstrong State University. The author of Leaders on the Front Line, Changing The Dance, and Free To Dance, A Suicide Survivor’s Memoir, she is a Leadership Development Consultant for the National Liturgical Dance Network.
