RIVERFEST JAZZ FESTIVAL

Thursday night The Riverfest Jazz Festival opened with a free event at AT & T Discovery District. Dallas Black Dance Theater choreographer Michele Gibson, a New Orleans native, led the second line, with stilt walkers and a Brass Band to kick off the event.

Thursday night The Riverfest Jazz Festival opened with a free event at AT & T Discovery District. Dallas Black Dance Theater choreographer Michele Gibson, a New Orleans native, led the second line, with stilt walkers and a Brass Band to kick off the event.

TBAAL Director Curtis King hosted the event and, along with other  Dallas musicians, The legendary R&B group, Yarbrough and Peoples headlined the show. The concert continues over the three day  Labor Day Weekend at The TBAAL Theater inside The Dallas Convention Center.
