To all who knew him, Monday was a source of comfort and steadfast loyalty, a man whose hands fixed engines and hearts alike, as a dedicated Diesel Technician and beloved family man.
Monday’s early years in Benin City shaped his character and values, instilling in him a sense of determination and integrity that would guide him throughout his days. Across continents and circumstances, he remained true to the principles upon which he was raised, never forgetting the lessons imparted by his parents, ALFRED OBADEYI and ROSELING OBADEYI, who preceded him in death. Their memory lives on in the honor with which Monday led his life.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his cherished wife, Abril Daniels. Monday was a guiding light for Uyi Angel Smoot, Osaretin Obadeyi, Orions Obadeyi, Ehis Obadeyi, Osaze Obadeyi, and Ameze Obadeyi. His role in their lives was one not only of a provider but of a mentor, a confidant, and a protector. The reach of his kindness extended even further—to his brother, sister, nephew, niece, and cousin—each of whom carries a piece of his spirit within them.
