Black Sports Moms® was founded in March 2025 after a divine connection between the founders Andrea Odom and Lachauna Edwards. Lachauna was a educator and advised families in the areas of NIL, contracts, and athlete branding. In February 2025, she launched a Black Momager Series on Instagram for Black History Month highlighting Blacks moms who were managing their child’s athletic careers behind the scenes.
