Superb Woman: Dr. Jasmine Ward

Dr. Jasmine Ward is a public health consultant, educator, and executive director devoted to achieving health equity. A proud graduate of Tuskegee University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she holds a PhD in Health Education and Promotion and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Based in Arlington, Texas, she leads the BLiPH network and serves on several boards, including the Black Heart Association and APHA’s Black Caucus of Health Workers. Honored as “Woman of the Year” and recipient of the SOPHE Horizon Award, Dr. Ward is committed to advancing social justice through public health.
