Anthony Daniels is a former educator who earned two degrees from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama. He represents House District 53 (Huntsville) in the Alabama legislature. Daniels is serving his first term, having been elected in 2014 and has served on numerous committees including Rules and Insurance.
At age 34 Daniels has become the youngest person to serve as Minority Leader in the Alabama House of Representaves in the modern era. He is also the first African-American to hold the position.
