Rufus was especially proud of his wife, grandchildren, holding them close in his heart and sharing in their lives with joy and enthusiasm.
Rufus possessed a giving heart and stood firm in his beliefs, qualities that endeared him to many. He was an outgoing individual who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as fishing and appreciating nature. In his spare time, he found solace in music and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Mavericks.
