Michael Wayne Hibbler, born on August 5, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2024, in the same city he called home. Michael a man who moved through life with an infectious sense of humor and a full of love. He was known in his community not just as a dedicated one who managed a store and owned an ice cream truck but as a friend and loving family member.

Throughout his life, Michael enjoyed simple pleasures that brought him joy, such as playing dominos and spades. His laughter filled rooms as he often took on the role of the comedian, bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. He developed a deep appreciation for good music and cherished moments spent with family, whether lounging outside or engaging in heartfelt conversations.

Michael was a supportive figure in many lives, always willing to lend a hand or be there for those in need. His proudest accomplishment was his unwavering dedication to helping others—he would do anything for anybody. This essence of compassion and kindness undoubtedly leaves a lasting legacy for all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his beloved family, including sisters Betty Hibbler, Avis Chambers, and Edith Hibbler-Oneal, Diane Elliott,Teresa Hibbler; brother Tommy Hibbler, Charles Hibbler , and his best friend Randolph Mitchell, and a host of neices and nephews throughout the metroplex.  Each of them carries with them cherished memories and the loving spirit of Michael. 

A Wake Service will be held in his honor on September 18, 2024, at 7:15 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on September 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Both services will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.

Michael Wayne Hibbler will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and interests but for the joy he brought into the lives of those who loved him. His legacy of love, humor, and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
