Markeitia Jackson, known as Marty, embodies resilience and determination. A decade ago, as a mother of five navigating postpartum depression and financial uncertainty, she was determined to break the cycle of poverty for her five children. She earned an associate’s and then a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She also attended Google Mobile Academy. Amidst academic successes, she also courageously battled and overcame breast cancer twice. Her career advanced as she took on a pivotal role at Coca-Cola and founded her consulting firm, all while studying for a master’s degree in business at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is certified in data analytics, SQL and Tableau and is “ready to take on the systems world.”
