Rachel L. Tatum’s journey on this earth came to a close on July 15, 2024, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth She was born on March 22, 1981, in the city she bid her final farewell.

Rachel led a fulfilling life as a Customer Service Representative in the retail industry, where she touched the lives of many with her warm and caring demeanor. Her dedication and commitment to helping others shone bright throughout her career.

A graduate of Fossil Ridge High School in 1999, Rachel exhibited intelligence and drive from a young age that carried through her life’s endeavors. She embraced education as a tool for growth and empowerment.

Outside of her professional life, Rachel found solace and joy in music. It was a passion that resonated deeply within her soul and brought comfort during both the highs and lows of life.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rachel leaves behind a legacy of kindness, empathy, and love that will forever be cherished by her surviving family members.

The services to commemorate Rachel L. Tatum’s life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation in Fort Worth for viewing on July 25, 2024, followed by the Funeral Service at The Key Church on July 26, 2024. The gatherings seek to honor Rachel’s memory and celebrate the impact she had on those around her.

As we bid farewell to Rachel in this physical realm, let us carry forward the light she brought into our lives—a light that will continue to guide us through dark times with the beautiful melody of music she so adored.
