JERRY PAUL

JERRY PAUL
JERRY PAUL

Jerry Paul was born March 23, 1945, in Arcadia, Louisiana, as the eighth child of 13, to Joseph “Joe” Paul, and Ora Lee Jenkins.  Jerry received his education in the Arcadia Louisiana school system.

Jerry moved to Dallas, Texas in 1964, and during that time he dedicated his life to Christ under the leadership of Bishop Harold and Evangelist Helen Smith, at First Full Gospel Pentecostal Church (FFGPC). It was there where Jerry met Annie Harris, to which their three children were born.

Over the years, Jerry was an assembly worker at General Motors Corporation, and a mechanic at Dunlap-Swain. He enjoyed all sports and was a huge fan of The Dallas Cowboys.

On his 60th birthday, Jerry rededicated his life to Christ, and joined Koinonia Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Bishop Cleophus Pearson and First Lady Betty Joe Pearson, serving as a Deacon until his passing.

Jerry left his earthly vessel and moved to his eternal home on Tuesday, April 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph “Joe” Paul and Ora Lee Jenkins; son, Darrell W. Paul; brothers, Joseph “Jack” Paul, Benjamin Paul, Cleophus Paul, David Paul, Eddie D. Paul, Theodis Paul, and Freeman Paul; one sister, Mary Joyce Pearson.

He leaves to cherish his children, Yolanda Paul-Fuller, Christi Paul, Jerry LeAndre Paul (Tenisha) and Sean Fuller; grandsons, Nicholas and Niles Fuller, Jordan and Justin Paul; siblings, Rosetta Smith, Sallye Lewis, Shirley Jeter, and Barbara Paul; special friends, Albert Lee and Eartha Pearson; and a host of family and friends near and far.
