William Brown

In loving memory of William Brown Sr, a devoted member of the Kirkwood Temple Church. He worked at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church and  Sears, who passed away on April 10, 2024. William will forever be remembered for his hardworking nature, kindness, reliability, and his deep love for his ’78 Trans Am.

Throughout his life, William touched the hearts of many with his unwavering dedication to his faith and community. His presence at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church brought light and warmth to all who knew him. As a respected member of the congregation, William’s contributions were invaluable and will be deeply missed.

Born on December 31, 1949, William lived a life filled with compassion and joy. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

William’s family and friends will gather to honor his life in a series of services. A Prayer Service will be held at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas on April 19, 2024, from 10:30 AM . Following this, a Visitation will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the same day.

The Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on April 20, 2024, at Kirkwood Temple CME Church in Dallas from 1:00 PM. This event will serve as a poignant tribute to William’s remarkable life and the profound impact he had on all those around him.

William is survived by his cherished family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts. While we mourn the loss of a beloved soul, we also celebrate a life well-lived—a life that exemplified love, faith, and strength.

In honoring William’s memory, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness and compassion. May he rest in peace knowing that he was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.
