Johnny Johnson was a man of many roles and cherished by all who knew him. Born on January 15, 1957, in Dallas, Texas, Johnny’s journey led him through a fulfilling career in ministry and later to a dedicated service of 13 years at Parks and Recreation in Elk City, Oklahoma.

His impact extended far beyond his professional endeavors; Johnny’s love for singing, watching sports, playing dominoes, and savoring a good watermelon showcased his joyful spirit. He found immense pride in his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, whose presence brought him immeasurable joy.

Johnny’s straightforward and matter-of-fact personality endeared him to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. His legacy of love, perseverance, and commitment will continue to inspire generations to come.

On March 13, 2024, Johnny’s journey reached its peaceful end in Euless, Texas. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the life he lived and the memories he created. In honoring Johnny Johnson’s memory, we find solace in knowing that his spirit will live on through the stories we share and the love we hold dear.

The visitation to pay respects to Johnny will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on March 22, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM leading up to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on March 23, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Let us come together to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Johnny Johnson as we bid farewell to a man whose presence warmed our hearts and whose legacy will forever remain etched in our memories.
