Gwendolyn Delores Hernandez, a beloved wife mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024, in North Richland Hills, Texas. She was born on September 25, 1962, in Sarasota, Florida, to her loving mother Ruby Taylor.

Gwendolyn will always be remembered for her warm and nurturing personality. She dedicated her life to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Gwendolyn was a caring, loving, and compassionate person who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her selflessness knew no bounds as she went above and beyond to ensure the happiness and well-being of her loved ones.

Gwendolyn’s true happiness came from spending time with her family. She found joy in creating special memories and traditions that will live forever. it was gathering around the dinner table for a delicious meal or embarking on adventures together, Gwendolyn’s love shone through in every moment shared her family.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Tony Hernandez, who stood by her through thick and thin. Their love was a source of inspiration for all who knew them. Gwendolyn also leaves behind her beloved children Dolyn Mayo and Sheena Mayo, whose lives were brightened by their mother’s unconditional love. 

In addition to her immediate family, Gwendolyn leaves behind a community of friends whose lives she enriched with kindness and compassion. Her infectious laughter and genuine interest in others endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
