Christine Scott, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 5, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on June 30, 1960, in Itasca, Texas, she touched the lives of many with her warm heart and selfless nature.

Christine was a dedicated woman who found immense joy in devoting most of her time to her grandchildren. Her love knew no bounds, and she considered them the light of her life. Whether it was helping them with their homework or sharing stories with them, Christine made sure to create beautiful memories that will forever be cherished by her family.

Known for her friendly and welcoming nature, Christine never met a stranger. She had a natural ability to make everyone feel at ease in her presence. Her caring spirit endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Christine’s genuine kindness and compassion left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Christine is survived by her children: Teresa Scott, Shanette Scott, and Kevin Scott. In addition to her immediate family members, Christine is mourned by her mother Ernestine Mathis and four brothers who held a special place in her heart.

The community will gather to pay their respects to this remarkable woman at the Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation in Fort Worth. The Wake Service will be held on January 12, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. The following day, on January 13th at 1:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation a Funeral Service will be conducted. Friends and family are invited to attend both services to celebrate the beautiful life that Christine lived.

A final farewell will take place on January 15, 2024, at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, Texas. The Burial ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM. It will be a solemn moment as we lay Christine to rest, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Christine Scott’s departure from this world leaves a void that cannot be filled. However, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She has left behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and love that serves as an inspiration for all.

May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her. Let us honor Christine’s life by remembering her fondly and continue to spread the same love she showered upon others.
