The Latino Cultural Center is creating a space to learn new fun hobbies with virtual classes starting October 13 until November 10. The program will run only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and there is no charge for students to participate.

The Center also partnered with Oil and Cotton, a local art supply store to help out with the classes.

Shannon Driscol, Oil and Cotton owner said, “Oil and Cotton is happy to partner with the Latino Cultural Center to provide a free tween and teen artist portfolio development series that explores the work of local Latinx artists. Artist Analise Minjarez will guide students through an exploration of various dry and wet art media.”

Students will be able to brush up on their talents using ink, pencil, and acrylic paint.
