Lorene Lawrence Baker

Mother Baker was born September 24, 1941 to Shelton Lawrence and Gabriella Lawrence in Coolidge, Texas.

She worked and retired from AAFES. She was also an Associate at Minyards for a number of years. From there she went on the enjoy her retirement.

She was very Spiritual, Kind hearted, and Loving. She had an everlasting love for serving in the house of the Lord. She adopted a lot of Spiritual children. and became a mother figure to many. If anyone needed to talk about life issues, she was one that could be trusted to give life tools to those who were in need.

Mother Baker is preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Gabriella Lawrence; five sisters, Rosie McCoy, Lera Lawrence, Ludie Dancer, Laura Stewart and Annie Carter; four Brothers, Raydell Lawrence, Clifton Lawrence, AD Lawrence, and RS Lawrence.

Those left to cherish her memories, three daughters, Carrie Drake, Latrina Colbert, Tina Colbert,; God-children, Jaleesia Waites and Adrian Waites; one sister, Mae Helen Johnson; two grandchildren, Kairo Henry and Syiedta Alexander, and a host of other relatives and friends.
